We rung in the back to school season for our school kids with clowns and Plastic Soul! On the avenue, we had the band, Plastic Soul, perform classic, cozy rock songs that were enjoyed by our community members. They played hits from The Beatles to The Eagles, to The Rolling Stones and more!
At the end of the avenue, by 75th and 96th, we had clowns face painting eager faces, and handing out balloon animals to the merry children of Woodhaven.
It was quite a sight, seeing happiness written all over the children's face, despite their feelings regarding the end of summer and beginning of a new school year!
