Paul Vasiliadis is not an uncommon name for residents in Woodhaven. He has owned everyone’s favorite Avenue Diner for over 10 years and has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. Before setting up shop in Woodhaven, he had a deli/pizzeria restaurant in Manhattan. Unfortunately, Paul lost his lease but his loss allowed him to stumble upon the opportunity to rent a space in Woodhaven. The previous restaurant owners still own the building but Paul owns and runs the restaurant. He is committed to showing up every day, commuting all the way from Whitestone. Paul loves the area and enjoys serving the locals.
The Avenue Diner’s busiest times are the weekends and burgers and breakfast are among its most popular dishes.
